The Los Angeles County Arts Commission supports the arts sector in the County of Los Angeles through grants to nonprofit arts organizations and by providing professional development programs to both grantees and non-grantees of the Arts Commission.

Grants

Through the Organizational Grant Program (OGP), the Arts Commission provides support for more than 300 regional nonprofit arts organizations annually in the areas of advancement, organizational capacity, artistic capacity, and increasing accessibility to assist them in enriching the lives of millions of County residents.

This program is made possible by the Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles who recognize the fundamental role of arts in the quality of life of Los Angeles County communities. Learn more about the members of the Board of Supervisors and their role in your district.

Professional Development

Our Professional Development programs provide technical assistance and leadership development opportunities for the Los Angeles arts community.

The Arts Commission also provides convening and workshop opportunities for artists, organizations and municipalities outside its grant pool along with special programs that align with major county initiatives in keeping with its mission to provide leadership in cultural services for the County, including information and resources for the community, artists, educators, arts organizations and municipalities.
