Arts Coordinator Professional Development
2009-2010 Arts for All Arts Coordinator Professional Development Series
This seven session series was designed to help Arts Coordinators broaden their impact as instructional leaders in their districts. These sessions were open to Arts Coordinators in Arts for All school districts. Throughout the series, Arts Coordinators increased their capacity to:
- Advance quality in their selection and design of arts curricula and professional development
- Think strategically about how to address district-wide needs and solicit support from district stakeholders
- Increase their sense of agency in advancing the implementation of district arts education plans
- Engage as reflective practitioners to identify their strengths, needs and next steps as Arts Coordinators
Arts Coordinators collaborated as a professional learning community to share strategies and resources and create a support network.
