Project DescriptionThe Hubert H. Humphrey Comprehensive Health Center is a full service hospital accommodating families and children, geriatrics, and a women’s clinic. The Center, built in 1976, will be renovated to update the first and second floor reception areas, the cafeteria and the urgent care center. The facility is used mostly by adults. George Peters and Melanie Walker have designed a lively and colorful polycarbonate suspended sculpture for the Center’s large open atrium. The atrium is approximately 26’ x 26’ and is situated above the security desk and the first floor reception area, at the main entrance to the Center. There is visibility from the second floor reception area into the atrium. |
