Join Email List to Learn About Opportunities and Events We encourage all artists interested in learning more about public art opportunities and events in southern California to join this Email List:
By providing your name, zip code and email, we will be able to send you regionally targeted Calls for Artists from our program, as well as Calls from many of the other municipal public art programs in our region. We may also send you invitations from private art consultants, developers, or notices of public art-related events. Active Calls for Artists RFQ: Resource List of Pre-Qualified Artists Applications must be submitted through the Call for Entry (CAFÉ) online application system managed by the Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF). Artists will create a personal account (free of charge) with CAFÉ in order to access the full application. Please visit www.callforentry.org to set up your account. Once you create a personal CAFÉ account, your contact information, resume, references, and images are saved for easy access when applying to future calls through CAFÉ. To find the full Call, go to www.callforentry.org. Once you have created a personal account, go to "CAFE Listings" and click the "Los Angeles County: Resource List of Pre-Qualified Artists" Call. RFQ: Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park (download) How Civic Art Program Works with Artists The Civic Art Program hires artists from a Resource List of Pre-Qualified Artists which is revised every 2 to 3 years. Periodically we issue open Calls for Artists for specific projects. Those calls will be posted on this site for downloading and distributed through the Email List described above. We strongly encourage all interested artists to join. |
