SOMETHING NEW AND DIFFERENT!
Yes, there have been changes made to the OGP application process.
Welcome! On these pages you will find information on the Los Angeles County Arts Commission’s Organizational Grant Program (OGP).


OGP applicants should be aware that the process now includes the following:

FOR ALL APPLICANTS:
  • Submission of California Cultural Data Project/ OGP Funder Report. For more information visit: www.caculturaldata.org.
  • New narrative questions as part of the new set of Los Angeles County Municipal Arts Funders common questions.
  • Must have 501(c)(3) status at time of application.
  • Increase in Minimum Award Request Amounts.
  • Submission of Content Checklist (which includes the signatory line) with Supplemental Materials.
  • Use of WebGrants to complete an online application.

FOR OGP I and II:

  • Submission of Federal Form 990 instead of Internal Financial Statement.
  • Project request amount is now based on the total cash revenues of the most recently submitted Federal Form 990.
FOR OGP II, 2.5 and III:
  • Increase in Percentage Request Minimum. (Please note these changes may not necessarily translate to increased grant awards.)
  • Project request amount is now based on the total cash revenues of the most recently submitted Audit.

Don’t delay!

Applications may be submitted up to midnight on the due date. After 5:00 p.m., staff will not be available to provide technical assistance. Please note that no late applications will be accepted. Incomplete applications will be disqualified. There are NO exceptions. WebGrants will not allow submissions beyond midnight of the deadline day (i.e. 12:01 am the following day). All supporting documentation sent by mail must be POSTMARKED by the application deadline.

Through the Organizational Grant Program (OGP), the Los Angeles County Arts Commission provides more than 300 regional nonprofit arts organizations annually with contracts for services to address their priority needs and assist them in enriching the lives of millions of County residents.
