Jung Im Lee Korean Dance Academy

Korea native Jung Im Lee, who runs one of the leading Korean traditional dance studios in L.A., stages the spectacular “Symphony of Drums” with 20 beautifully costumed dancer-musicians.

Mrs. Lee teaches throughout many different communities in Southern California. Mainstream America recognizes Mrs. Lee as one of the top Korean cultural performers/teachers in the area. She has taught Korean dance at many different schools such as: Occidental College, University Redlands, Santa Monica College, Bell Flower High School, Durns More School, La Canada Elementary School, Neo Politi Elementary School, America Samoa Korean School, Wilshire Presbyterian Church, Cal State Northridge, Cal State L.A., Korean Culture Center, and Pilgrim Preparatory School.  Jung Im Lee Korean Academy has performed at various places, such as: the Pacific Asia Museum, L.A. County Museum, Music Center, Pasadena Civic Auditorium, Wilshire Ebel Theater, Northwest Airlines 50th anniversary commercial, L.A. County Christmas Celebration, International Day in Seattle for the 9th Korean-American Olympic Festival, Sung Sam Catholic Church for its 70th year anniversary, Greek Theater, Japan Theater, Wonderland Magnet School, Mount San Antonio College, Reo Hondo College, Marco Polo Journey Festival, Lotus Festival (1997-2000), U.N.L.V. Youth Performing Center.
