Organizational Grant Program

Welcome to the Los Angeles County Arts Commission's Organizational Grant Program (OGP)

The Organizational Grant Program awards two-year grants to nonprofit arts organizations for core operating support. OGP grants are structured to support arts organizations based on their size. Please be sure to see if you are eligible to apply for an OGP grant by reviewing the Eligibility Requirements.

New applicants and applicants that did not receive funding the last time they applied to the Organizational Grant Program are required to attend an OGP Workshop.

All applicants are now required to complete organizational profiles and Funder Reports through the California Cultural Data Project for the last two fiscal years. We recommend starting this process several weeks before your OGP application due date.

OGP applicant organizations are categorized by total revenue size.

OGP I: Advancement - Deadline: December 8, 2010
For organizations with revenue of less than $100,000
Provides support for artistic or administrative advancement projects for arts organizations

OGP II: Organizational Capacity - Deadline: November 17, 2010
For organizations with revenue of $100,000 to $499,999
Provides support for projects to strengthen infrastructure for arts organizations.

OGP 2.5: Artistic Capacity - Deadline: November 3, 2010
For organizations with revenue of $500,000 to $1,499,999
Provides support for artistic growth and employment opportunities.

OGP III: Accessibility - Deadline: October 20, 2010
For organizations with revenue of more than $1.5 million
Provides support for projects to increase accessibility of the arts for Los Angeles County residents

Through the Organizational Grant Program (OGP), the Los Angeles County Arts Commission provides more than 300 regional nonprofit arts organizations annually with contracts for services to address their priority needs and assist them in enriching the lives of millions of County residents.
